NATIONAL CHAPTER RECOGNIZED AT THE 98th GEORGIA FFA STATE CONVENTION

MACON, Ga. – National Chapter Winners were recognized at the 98th Georgia FFA State Convention held at the Macon Centreplex on April 22-25, 2026. 

The 2026 Chapter Achievement Awards were presented to Creekview of Area 1, Oglethorpe County of Area 2, Bonaire Middle of Area 3, South Effingham of Area 4, Early County of Area 5, and Berrien County of Area 6. The state winner was Oglethorpe County.

Chapters across the state were recognised for their success and received a Gold Emblem Ranking on their National Chapter Award Application. These chapters were as follows:

The Chapter Achievement Awards were sponsored at the state level by AgGeorgia Farm Credit & AgSouth Farm Credit.

Area Chapter Achievement winners received a plaque and a $150 cash award. The winning chapter was awarded a plaque and $500 for their accomplishments. Their local advisor was also awarded $100. 

The National FFA Organization, formerly known as the Future Farmers of America, changed its name in 1988 to reflect the growth and diversity of agriculture. There are over 1 Million FFA members nationwide. The Georgia Association has more than 80,000 members, making it the third largest Association in the nation. The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success, through agricultural education.
