WINERY NOTES:

TASTING NOTES: “Purely Napa Valley, this Cabernet Sauvignon offers up bright aromas of cassis, fresh cedar, and redcurrant that pair harmoniously with flavorful core of juicy red berries, toasted vanilla, and dark chocolate. Approachable, soft, and velvety, this wine is unquestionably vibrant and light on its feet and is, quite simply, delicious (14.5% ABV)

PRODUCTION: “The fruit was sourced from the Rutherford sub-AVA within the larger Napa Valley Appellation. This location is fundamental to the phenolic ripeness of Cabernet Sauvignon, allowing for velvet tannins and great aromatic intensity. This wine is comprised of a single clone, 337. Harvest: Fruit was harvested by hand at night on September 20th 2022 and immediately sorted at the winery. Winemaking Process: Fruit is fermented in stainless steel, closed-top tanks. There is a short cold soak before the fermentation is allowed to begin. During fermentation, we perform two to three pump overs per day. Maximum temperatures reached during fermentation are 85 °F. When fermentation is complete, the wine is drained from the tank and skins are gently pressed.”

BRAND: "Bibiana González Rave crafts her Alma de Cattleya wines as high-quality offerings  representing the uniqueness of Northern California: Sonoma and Napa County. Alma means “soul” in Spanish—and Cattleya is the national flower of her native country, Colombia. These wines are the perfect accompaniment to everyday meals and relaxing moments.”
